Re-cap of 2015 Growing closer to God 2015 has been marked with lots of changes.  We moved across the country of the Dominican Republic from the city of Santiago to the desert of Azua.  It has been quite the adjustment but God is always faithful.  He shows us that He is faithful but that we are also dependent on Him.  When we have no water than we know where our true source comes from. God really does supply even if it is a bit later than we would like. This past year we have continued to serve God as a family.  We work hard on making family decisions and all listening to God not just Dad and Mom and the family following along.   The year started with working with Chapel Projects and helping at HOPE Children's Center in Cien Fuegos.  We moved in May and started working with YWAM Azua. Sammi had a great Aug to Nov serving with All-Access Productions in NY.  Hannah and Jesse serve at the base with us but were also able to travel up to Santiago and serve with Chapel Project without Ned and I this fall.  Ned is enjoying the office work and accounting at YWAM Azua and Debbie is enjoying working in communications.   We have greatly enjoyed our stateside trip and connecting with so many of you since Nov. We have a couple more weeks here in Indiana and look forward to Ned's family getting together this weekend.   Happy New Year! May 2016 shine bright! Looking forward to 2016! Headed back to Azua on Jan 12th. We look forward to settling in more and continuing to serve at YWAM Azua in 2016.  Obedience to what God asks us to do is our biggest goal.  This often looks different than what we expect so we work to keep our personal expectations as a minimum.  Please consider joining us for a trip to Azua, Dominican Republic in 2016. Merry Christmas from the Walkers Would you like to hold my Son? Can you imagine visiting Mary and having her ask you if you would like to hold her son?  The son of man yet the son of God.  This is what God asks us daily...would you like to hold my Son?  We hold tightly to the Son of God in our hearts.  We are constantly asking ourselves how we can share this great treasure with others.  This is what our lives as missionaries are made up of...but it is also for all Christ followers to do.  To help others to learn how to hold the Son of God.  Thank you Glenn Sheppard aka Papa G for sharing this simple yet beautiful truth with us.  We are so thankful for the time we have spent in the states so far.  We head to Georgia and then to Indiana tomorrow but we are deeply saddened as we have not gotten to spend as much time here in Florida as we wish.   We have loved re-connecting with so many but have also not gotten to visit with some of you.  We apologize for this.     Merry Christmas from our family to yours!  Thank you so much for being a part of our lives and this adventure that we are on.   Copyright © 2015 Ned and Debbie Walker, All rights reserved.
