We are reflecting this Christmas more than ever on the true beauty and meaning of Christmas. This is our first one separated but we are united in heart and know that God is using us all. This past year we have leaned into God like never before and know a deeper love due to it.  What a blessing that is. Our pray for you is that you will know a deeper love in Jesus and trust Him more. And see how much you mean to Him! In this place of seeing ourselves as Jesus sees us is where our value, calling, and our destiny is birthed. Love and blessings to you all! It's official!  Sammi has applied for Hillsong College in Australia.  This has been a dream of hers for over 3 years so she has taken a step of faith and applied. She will pursue studies in music.  If you would like more information or feel like you can sponsor her, please email her at sjw8611@yahoo.com. Hannah is headed to Greece and the Middle East for 10 weeks for her Outreach.  Please be praying for her and she is still about $300 short of her needed fees.  It has been great to hear her stories of what God is teaching her. "I know I'm not very old but I remembered something from when I was little tonight."... is how Jesse started telling us a story as we sat relaxing after having cleaned up from the YWAM DR Christmas party in Santiago this past week.  He told us of remembering when he was 8 and the older adult guys (mainly college age) would play with him when we first joined YWAM. He recalled how the older teens at Central Assembly and SAINTS used to pay attention to him when he was even younger.  At the party he had played soccer and sang Christmas carols alongside 9, 10 and 11 year old YWAM boys from other YWAM DR bases.  "Now that I am older, I never want to forget to stop and play with little kids because I remembered what it meant to me at their age." This Christmas season and all year, lets put into practice the life lesson that Jesse has learned.  Let's remember to stop and play with people of all ages. The angels stopped and sang to declare Jesus's birth! The shepherds and wise men stopped to worship.  Let's also stop and worship Jesus this Christmas.  Not just in thought but also in our actions towards others. Thanks for being a part of this adventure.  Donations can be given at: http://www.Walker5forGod.com View this email in your browser We are safely back in the Dominican Republic after our training time in Kansas City.  We learned a lot about Impact World.  One thing that stood out was the need to present the gospel.  Disciples must first be shown and accept the love of Jesus before they can be discipled. Now to process what God wants us to do with what we learned. It was great to see Sammi, who is doing well in Georgia and it was great to see our parents and families a bit.  Sadly it was just a short time but very enjoyable. Hannah is doing well in California and enjoying her DTS.  She just told me about meeting a lady who only spoke Spanish in the streets where they were doing ministry. Hannah was the only Spanish speaker in her group and was able to pray for her. Please continue to pray for her. hattiecat97@gmail.com is her email if you would like to send her a note. Thank you, Wyatt, for your prayers! Wyatt is 8 years old and is a major part of our ministry.  No, Wyatt doesn't live with us. No, Wyatt has never come to visit us. But, Wyatt prays for us A LOT!  3 years ago when Wyatt was 5, he heard about the Walker Family missionaries in his Sunday School class at Converse Church of Christ in Converse, Indiana. God prompted Wyatt to pray for us and he has never stopped.  We could not do what we do without Wyatt.  Thank you Wyatt for faithfully praying for us!  Your prayers help us so much. We need more prayer warriors like Wyatt. If you are praying for us, would you please consider sending us a note to let us know? What an encouragement that would be. Prayer request:  We need some wisdom regarding our next step.  We learned a lot in our recent training in Kansas City and now we are processing what we learned.  There have also been some changes here in the DR regarding the property where the base is located so this will bring some major changes that we are all unsure of at this time. Thank you Converse Church of Christ for hosting the Chicken Noodle dinner fundraiser for us. We really enjoyed our evening!
